Puffin Books have published several titles in the Moomin series. ![]() Jansson was Finnish but she wrote the books in Swedish and did all the illustrations herself. They first appeared in 1945 and continued until 1971 by which time 11 titles had been published. Tove Jansson’s ‘Moomin’ books have become modern-day classics.
